ilumi Vegetable Chickpea Jalfrezi Review

Illumi is a great new brand which is always dairy & gluten free - guaranteed ! The vegetable & chickpea jalfrezi is one of the best things I've had in ages ! Due to me needing extra protein in my diet for the weight training I've been doing I added an extra can of chick peas to this. 

It was really nice to have something different, but something I knew was safe to eat too , as I'm not normally keen on getting bought in things ! 

If you like slightly spicey / medium spicey foods you will love this , you could if you wanted to - add a batch of rice to it or some tapas style nibbles and have a " share for two" romantic meal . 

It was unusual and excellent quality - similar to something you'd have in a good restaurant at a fraction of the price . 

I've been telling all my allergy patients about it at work as I really do love this delicious range of food !

Method hand soap wash - Pink Grapefruit

I'm always thinking of what were putting into our bodies, especially what we put into our skin .

I think that working for a cosmetic brand as a Make-Up artist , made me question everything even more. The reason being that we were told that we were to use alcoholic hand sanitizer after every client - which is fine ! I'm all for cleanliness - especially when someone is doing your eye make up etc . However a few months down the line, the skin on my hands has dramatically aged. The skin under my engagement ring is so damaged I can't wear it at the moment . It's scarred too .

So when I was looking for a happy, Eco hand wash at Wholefoods the other week, I decided to try the method one. I think I wash my mitts around 20-30 *times a day , depending what I'm doing . It's not dried my skin out like the supermarket branded one I've had before . ( I am OCD about washing my hands since I spent almost a year in hospital ,Continually in & out )

I'm sure hand wash isn't the most important thing on your mind at the moment , but I wanted to let you know the Method one is great . It smells very clean, looks great in the sink area ( although I'd prefer the Orla Kiely ones ) and they do last !

The only negative thing is I personally find pressing the dispenser down the whole way gives you too much gel, and so I press it down lightly .

My hand wash was around £2.50, which is good value I feel , for an Eco, plant based, earth / skin friendly product .

I'm really hoping to try the other ones, as grapefruit isn't my preferred smell if I'm honest .
